Terms of Service
The short version: we make you a bag, you pay for it, we both behave. The longer version is below.
These Terms govern your use of jellyfirkinbag.co (the “Site”) and any purchase you make from Jelly Firkin (“we”, “us”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who we are
Jelly Firkin designs and sells made-to-order translucent TPU handbags through this Site. Contact: contact@jellyfirkin.com.
2. Products
Every bag is configured to your order (color, size, hardware and optional personalisation) and made after you buy. Because the material is translucent, colour and transparency vary with light — more transparent in sunlight, softer indoors — and may look slightly different from screen renders. Small variations between bags are part of the material, not defects. Sizes (25 / 30 / 35 / 40 cm) refer to width and may vary by a few millimetres.
3. Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we email your order confirmation. We may refuse or cancel any order (for example for suspected fraud, pricing errors or stock issues); if payment has been taken, it will be refunded in full. Because production starts fast, orders can be cancelled by you within 12 hours of confirmation — see our Returns & Refunds policy.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout and include shipping; import duties and taxes are covered by us so nothing extra is charged on delivery. We may change prices at any time, but changes never affect orders already confirmed. Payment is processed securely by Shopify Payments and its partners; we never see or store your full card details. If a price is obviously wrong (a typo or system error), we may cancel the order and refund you rather than honour the wrong price.
5. Personalised products
By ordering an Outer Design or Interior Message you confirm you have the right to use the artwork or text you supply and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or contain unlawful, hateful or offensive content. We may refuse to produce personalisation that breaks these rules and will refund the personalisation fee. Personalised bags cannot be returned for change of mind.
6. Shipping, returns and refunds
Governed by our Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy, which form part of these Terms.
7. Your statutory rights
Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under the consumer laws of your country (for example the right to a refund, repair or replacement for faulty goods, or cancellation rights under EU/UK distance-selling rules for non-personalised items). Where our policies are more generous, the more generous term applies.
8. Intellectual property
Jelly Firkin®, the JF mark, our designs, images, 3D configurator, texts and code are our property or used under licence. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without written permission. Customer photos and videos we feature are used with the creator’s permission and credited where possible.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use the Site for anything unlawful, do not attempt to interfere with its operation or security, and do not scrape or copy its content. We may suspend access for anyone who does.
10. Reviews and user content
If you send us photos, videos or reviews (by email or by tagging us on social media), you grant us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use them on the Site and our channels, with credit where possible. Ask us at any time and we will take yours down.
11. Liability
We are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for anything caused by events outside our control (carrier delays, customs, strikes, extreme weather). Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party services (Instagram, TikTok, payment providers). We are not responsible for their content or practices.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of these Terms.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on the Site at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country you live in. Disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales or, if you are a consumer, in the courts of your home country.
